Kolkata Rape-Murder case
CBI spoke to the victim’s family in the rape-murder case of a trainee doctor in Kolkata. The family has suspected some interns and doctors of the hospital of being involved in this case. The CBI said that the victim’s family has written down some names. We will question them now. The CBI has also detained the former principal of the hospital, Sandeep Ghosh, and he will also be questioned.
BJP accused the government of punishing the culprits of the lady doctor and destroying evidence. Along with this, BJP leaders demanded the resignation of Mamata Banerjee. There was a clash between the police and the protesting people. After this, state BJP president Sukanta Majumdar and other workers were taken into custody.
